Design and Analysis of a Dual Airgap Radial Flux Permanent Magnet Vernier Machine with Yokeless Rotor

چکیده

This paper presents a novel topology of dual airgap radial flux permanent magnet vernier machine (PMVM) in order to obtain higher torque per volume and similar average compared conventional PMVM machine. The proposed contains two stators sandwiched yokeless rotor. rotor helps reduce the by providing an effective linkage stator windings. improved competitiveness was validated using 2D finite element analysis under same as that Moreover, cogging torque, ripples, density, losses, efficiency performances also favored topology.
